The third generation of PDM ahead of scheduled released in Oct 2023.

The PDM³ is likely to be released a month ahead of time before the scheduled launch date of October 2023.  The PDM³ retains its initials PDM for Pile Driving Monitor, which is the name given to the first- and second-generation devices used for pile sign-off in the driven pile driving

industry. In

keeping with the significantly enhanced capabilities of the new technology used in the PDM³, with multi-target tracking capability, the initials now stand for Precision Dynamic Measurement.

FQA has an ambitious plan for continuing development with its industry partners into multiple areas of construction and infrastructure monitoring.  Early applications will be for full-length blow count monitoring of driven piles; SPT monitoring; working platform evaluation and offshore pile monitoring.
